PackDash is an innovator of omni-channel commerce technologies and we’re looking for someone to come build an incredible team and culture from the ground floor. We are a start-up that needs a strong operator and people manager to join our fast-growing team. You’ll have the freedom to make changes and receive support from the executive team to continuously find ways to make our customers successful.

Role Summary:

The Operations Manager will be a strategic people and process manager with the ability to direct a workforce in the fulfillment of orders for a variety of clients in the vice, vanity, and wellness space. At the core of the role you will be responsible for managing inbound inventory, maintaining inventory, pick/ pack operations and outbound shipments. We encourage new ideas and a fresh perspective that can be implemented company wide.

Responsibilities:

  • – Accountable to client SLA agreements and site-specific quality and fulfillment targets
  • – Create and manage day to day operational strategy and mechanisms in accordance to the SOP’s, ensuring the campus operates in a safe, quality and productive manner and remains in good overall health
  • – Actively contribute to the development of direct reports.
  • – Lead Individual Performance Management
  • – Responsible for planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to insure efficiency, accuracy and quality
  • – Interact with clients on operational topics
  • – Budget management for profitability
  • – Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • – Deliver performance evaluations to direct reports and provide feedback as necessary including salaried member of management.

Qualifications:

  • – HS Degree or GED Required
  • – Minimum of 4 years of progressive Operations experience in a manager role.  
  • – Experience leading up to 20 associates.
  • – Execution focused and performance oriented
  • – Identify process opportunities to create growth.
  • – Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • – Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate direct reports.
  • – Ability to influence and collaborate with peers and upper management.
  • – Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in Excel. 
  • – Must have intermediate math skills

Travel:

  • – This position is not remote.
  • – Travel is not required.

Hours: Monday to Friday / 9 am to 5:00 pm. Must be available for additional hours as needed.

Experience:

  • – Operations management: 2 year (Preferred)
  • – Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
  • – Warehouse distribution: 2 year (Preferred)
  • – E-commerce: 2 year (Preferred)
